  I love working with other people. Although the people working in my lab complete research in a similar area to me (renewable materials and polymers) we are all doing individual projects. This means that there are lots of people around to ask for help but I am the only person in the lab working to make aerogel materials from cellulose nanowhiskers.

  I really like working with other people, even if you’re not working on identical projects it’s always good to have people there to bounce new ideas off, as they may think of things that I wouldn’t have. Plus who doesn’t like spending time with people they get on with and can have a laugh with?!
