I first started getting interested in animals in primary school. We’ve always had pets and I love visiting zoos. I started reading about the animals that I liked. Since then I enjoyed studying biology at school and now I’m still studying biology at university, doing my own research.
So it’s hard to pin it down to a specific time!

This is a tricky one to answer. I really enjoyed science when I was at school so I decided to study chemistry and biology at A-level. I applied to do a pharmacy degree course at university but I changed my mind and completed a chemistry degree instead. Now I’m working towards a PhD in chemistry, completing my own research in the lab. So I guess there wasn’t a particular time when I became a scientist, it just kind of happened 🙂
