Because the lesson plans that I would develop for schools would use spiders to teach about a range of different sciences (biology, physics and engineering), in a fun way using an animal that people can see and appreciate in every day life. There would be something for everyone, whether you like spiders or not!
      And I’m nice.

I am passionate about chemistry and would like the opportunity to use the cash prize to get students like yourself excited about chemistry! It is important that people continue to study chemistry so that as a country we can develop our understanding further and advance our technology. I have lots of interesting experiments planned that I would like to take into schools to show how fascinatingly brilliant chemistry is!
